One of the questions I’m asked most often is where I find the pieces that make their way into Vestige. The honest answer is: almost anywhere.
Vintage has a way of revealing itself in unexpected places, and one of my favorite parts of running the shop is the constant search. It's all about passing over of hundreds of things to find the one that feels right. And that search often leads me to our local Facebook Marketplace.
I check it constantly. Not casually, but with the kind of regularity required when you’re always looking for the next exceptional piece. And because Vestige is intentionally small, I inevitably come across far more things than I could ever bring home.
Which means some of the best finds never make it through our doors.
So I thought: why not let them make their way to you instead?
Introducing The Vestige Marketplace Edit—a weekly selection of ten of my favorite Facebook Marketplace finds currently available locally.
Think of it as a complimentary mini personal-shopping session, curated with the same eye I bring to sourcing for the shop, just a little further outside the racks.
For our inaugural edit, I’m focusing on furniture and home pieces: objects with beautiful lines, interesting materials, a sense of history, or simply that elusive quality that makes you stop scrolling.
And because this first edition is meant to be especially accessible, not one of this week’s ten finds is over $125.
I’ll share the pieces I would buy myself, the ones I wish I could bring into Vestige, and the ones I think are simply too good to let disappear into the Marketplace feed.
